Ingredients

  • 150 g of pineapple juice
  • 60 g of ketchup
  • 50 g of rice vinegar
  • 50 g of sugar
  • 20 g of gluten-free soy sauce
  • 15 g of corn flour
  • 100 g of water
  • 1 teaspoon of grated ginger

Step-by-step

Choose your robot:
  1. Put the ginger in the mixing bowl and chop 4 sec/speed 7.
  2. Add the pineapple juice, ketchup, vinegar, sugar and soy.
  3. Mix 10 sec/speed 4 to integrate.
  4. Dissolve the corn flour in the water and add it through the lid opening.
  5. Set 8 min/100°C/speed 2 until it thickens and becomes glossy.
  6. Check the texture and let it cool before saucing.

Tips

  • Add pieces of pineapple and pepper for a chunky version.
  • Use tamari instead of soy to make it gluten-free.
  • Ideal with battered chicken or sauteed vegetables.
