Red sauce for tacos
Spicy tomato and arbol chile sauce for Mexican tacos.

Ingredients
- 4 ripe tomatoes
- 3 dried arbol chiles
- 1/2 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/2 bunch fresh coriander
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 100 ml water
- Juice of 1/2 lime
Step-by-step
Choose your robot:
- Toast the arbol chiles 2 min/Varoma/speed 1 and set aside.
- Put onion and garlic in the mixing bowl and chop 3 sec/speed 5.
- Saute with the oil 4 min/120°C/spoon speed.
- Add the quartered tomatoes and the chiles and cook 8 min/100°C/speed 1.
- Add the water and salt and blend 40 sec/speed 7.
- Add the coriander and lime juice and mix 10 sec/speed 4.
- Adjust the salt and let cool before serving.
Tips
- Remove the chile seeds for less heat.
- Serve cold over al pastor or carnitas tacos.
