Ingredients
- 600 g of chicken breast
- 500 g of ripe tomato
- 1/2 white onion plus another half, julienned
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 to 3 chipotle chiles in adobo
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
- 30 g of oil
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- Tostadas, avocado and cream to serve
Step-by-step
Choose your robot:
- Put the chicken in the mixing bowl with 600 g of water, half an onion, a garlic clove, bay leaf and salt. Program 20 min/100°C/speed 1.
- Remove the chicken, shred it with two forks and set aside. Empty the mixing bowl.
- Place tomato, the other garlic clove, the chipotles and half an onion. Blend 30 sec/speed 6.
- Add the oil and saute the julienned onion 5 min/120°C/spoon speed.
- Add the blended sauce and the oregano. Program 12 min/100°C/reverse/spoon speed.
- Add the shredded chicken and mix 3 min/90°C/reverse/spoon speed.
- Adjust the salt and serve over tostadas with avocado and cream.
Tips
- Adjust the chipotles according to the desired spiciness.
- It is also delicious in tacos or as an empanada filling.
