Peruvian cream of shredded chicken with yellow aji and bread.

Ingredients

  • 500 g cooked and shredded chicken breast
  • 3 tablespoons yellow aji paste
  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 3 slices of sandwich bread
  • 300 ml milk
  • 50 g parmesan cheese
  • 30 g walnuts
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Step-by-step

Choose your robot:
  1. Soak the bread in the milk outside the mixing bowl for 5 minutes.
  2. Put onion and garlic in the mixing bowl and chop 4 sec/speed 5.
  3. Saute with the oil 6 min/120°C/spoon speed.
  4. Add the yellow aji paste and cook 3 min/120°C/speed 1.
  5. Add the bread with the milk and the walnuts and blend 40 sec/speed 6.
  6. Set the cream 8 min/90°C/speed 2 until it thickens.
  7. Add the shredded chicken and the cheese and mix 4 min/90°C/reverse/spoon speed.
  8. Serve with white rice, boiled potato and olives.

Tips

  • Adjust the amount of aji to the desired heat.
  • Garnish with sliced boiled egg.
