Ingredients
- 400 g diced beef (round or brisket)
- 1 diced onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 diced carrot
- 2 diced potatoes
- 1 cup diced squash
- 1/2 cup corn kernels
- 1/2 cup rice
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 liter beef broth or hot water
- Salt and pepper
- Chopped parsley to serve
Step-by-step

- Put the garlic and onion in the mixing bowl and chop 4 sec/speed 5. Scrape down with the spatula.
- Add the oil and sauté 6 min/120°C/spoon speed.
- Add the meat, paprika, oregano, salt and pepper and sauté 5 min/Varoma/reverse/spoon speed.
- Add the carrot, squash, broth and rice. Set 18 min/100°C/reverse/spoon speed.
- Add the potatoes and corn and set 15 min/100°C/reverse/spoon speed until the potatoes are tender.
- Adjust the salt, divide among plates and sprinkle with parsley.
Tips
- If you like it brothier, add 200 ml more hot broth at the end.
- The squash breaks down a little and gives body to the broth — that's normal.
