Ingredients
- 800 g plums, pitted
- 350 g sugar
- The juice of 1 lemon
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
Step-by-step
Choose your robot:
- Put the plums in the mixing bowl and chop 4 sec/speed 4.
- Add the sugar, lemon juice and cinnamon, mix 5 sec/speed 3.
- Place the basket on the lid to prevent splashes.
- Set 30 min/100C/speed 2 without the measuring cup to evaporate.
- Blend 20 sec/speed 5 for a smooth texture.
- Check the setting point with a drop on a cold plate.
- Pack hot into sterilized jars and seal under vacuum upside down.
Tips
- In Hungary it is used to fill traditional sweets.
- Store in a cool, dark place for up to 1 year.
- Cinnamon goes very well with plum.
