Ingredients
- 1.5 kg beef flank (plateada cut)
- 2 onions
- 3 garlic cloves
- 2 carrots
- 300 ml red wine
- 400 ml beef broth
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- Salt and pepper
- Oil
Step-by-step

- Season the beef with salt and pepper and sear in a pan with oil until browned on both sides.
- Put the onion, garlic and carrot in the mixing bowl and chop 4 sec, speed 4.
- Add a little oil and sauté 6 min, 120°C, spoon speed.
- Put the vegetables in a baking dish, the meat on top, then the wine, broth, bay leaves and oregano.
- Cover with foil and bake at 160°C for 2 hours until tender.
- Transfer the cooking juices to the mixing bowl and reduce 10 min, 100°C, speed 1 to make the sauce.
- Slice the beef and coat with the sauce.
Tips
- Slow cooking is key for it to turn out shreddable.
- Serve with rustic mashed potatoes.
